Bloom Where you are Planted

Dear Friends,

I was walking along in the central Philippines and snapped this picture of a humble red flower in a sea of smooth green. I imagine it must wonder just what purpose its life serves. People walk or drive
by it all the time and never really see its bright red color. It never hears any compliments about its symmetry or brilliant hue. It just grows where it is planted. It just blooms where it is planted.

Most of the people on this planet are like this red flower. Unnoticed, apparently insignificant, we go about our daily round of work. We sometimes wonder if our lives are making a difference.
Learn the lesson of the flower. Grow where you are planted. Bloom where you are planted. Who knows . . . somebody might come by and take a picture someday to share it with many . . .

Till next time . . .
